How it works

Here are the steps to using the Tool Shed during a session at The Yard Makerspace:

  1. Welcome and Orientation:

    • Upon entering the Tool Shed, receive a warm welcome and a brief orientation from our staff.

  2. Explore Tool Options:

    • Take a moment to explore the variety of tools available in the Tool Shed.

    • Familiarise yourself with each tool's purpose and potential applications.

    • Before beginning any project, review the safety guidelines provided by our staff.

    • Decide whether you want to follow one of our pre-designed crafting kits or if you prefer to work with the available wood scraps independently.

    • For independent crafting, gather the wood scraps and tools you'll need for your project.
